Baroness Smith of Basildon Labour -

Baroness Smith of Basildon is a Labour Life peer who has sat under this title in the Lords since 8 July 2010. Her full title is The Rt Hon. the Baroness Smith of Basildon, and her given name is Angela Evans Smith. Prior to joining the Lords, she sat in the Commons as an MP, and was first elected in 1997. She currently undertakes the roles of Shadow Spokesperson (Northern Ireland), Shadow Spokesperson (Cabinet Office), Shadow Spokesperson (Cabinet Office, Constitutional and Devolved issues) , and Shadow Leader of the House of Lords.
