Earl Howe is a Conservative Excepted Hereditary peer who has sat under this title in the Lords since 30 October 1984. His full title is The Rt Hon. the Earl Howe, and his given name is Frederick Richard Penn Curzon. He currently holds the Government post of Deputy Leader of the House of Lords.
