of Directors 1983-1987; general counsel for agribusiness and merchandising firm
1983-1987; appointed on March 11, 1987, as a Republican to the United States
Senate to fill the vacancy in the term ending January 3, 1989, caused by the
death of Edward Zorinsky, and served from March 11, 1987, until January 3, 1989; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1988; resumed the
practice of law.
