Children and Youth, 1960; chairwoman, Presidential Task Force on Rural
Development, 1971-1972; served on Advisory Board, Educational Resources
Information Center, Clearinghouse on Rural Education and Small Schools, United
States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, 1972-1974; served on
Census Advisory Committee on Agricultural Statistics, United States Department
