vacancy caused by the death of United States Representative Walter Norblad, and
reelected to the four succeeding Congresses (November 3, 1964-January 3, 1975);
was not a candidate for reelection to the Ninety-fourth Congress in 1974; died
on January 28, 2009, in Portland, Oreg.
