What was considered improbable and impossible happened last November, when Donald Trump won the general election to become the President of the United States. The snobbish and dishonest Hillary Clinton thought she was entitled to win the Presidency – she was wrong! You have to earn it woman!
Since then, the mainstream media houses have been on a relentless witch hunt, demonizing Trump in every which way possible and criticizing every action of his. Contrary to what many have been led to believe, President Trump has achieved a lot in the first 200 days, despite the opposition of hostile political opponents and media.
And petty punks like John McCain whose face is falling off. Wow, that man needs to get a hobby. What a loser! He is jealous that Trump won and he was not willing to do what it takes to win. Trump should not have insulted McCain about being captured and that was wrong but McCain is taking himself over the entire country. That is disgusting and selfish.
List of Trump’s Key Achievements in First Six Months of Presidency
Withdrawing from Paris Climate Accord is one of the boldest decisions that Trump has made so far. Studies show that the obligations under the accord would have cost the country close to $3 trillion. By withdrawing from it, Trump has not only avoided unnecessary expenditures, but has also managed to reclaim America’s sovereignty in the process.
Trump has signed two key Executive Orders – one to make it easier for American businesses to set up and expand apprenticeship programs and another one – appropriately named ‘Buy American and Hire American’ – to promote the interests of American businesses and workers.
Trump has also eliminated a number of anti-growth regulations brought in by Obama, which were a drain on the economy. According to the American Action Forum, the removal of unnecessary regulations could result in a $70 billion reduction in costs.
Thanks to these measures, the economy has added 863,000 jobs since January, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average hitting new highs as many as 25 times already this year!
Trump has freed up federal lands and waters for the purpose of oil and gas development. He has approved the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, which created a total of $2 billion in earnings and added 42,000 new jobs. He has also signed an Executive Order which mandates companies to use American steel and American workers for any pipeline work.
Trump has withdrawn from the Trans-Pacific Partnership after stating that the agreement does not protect American workers. He is in the process of renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the United States – Korea Free Trade Agreement. He is also negotiating with China for better economic cooperation between the two countries. So far, he has put American interests first, rather than kowtowing to the agenda of internationalists.
Trump, true to his promise, appointed Neil Gorsuch as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court in April. He has signed an Executive Order to bring about strict lobbying standards for political appointees. The new rules include a five-year ban on domestic lobbying and a lifetime ban on lobbying for foreign nations.
Ever since Trump became President, illegal border crossings have gone down by 53% compared to last year. To clamp down on illegal immigration, 10,000 new Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have been hired, which has led to a 40% increase in enforcement and removal operations when compared to last year.
As you can see, Trump has achieved quite a lot in the first six months and is on his way to reset the system, rather than maintaining the status quo. In the coming days, we can surely expect to see more radical measures from the Trump administration to boost our economy and improve our law and order situation.
