To amend title 23, United States Code, to modify the excep-

tion from requirements for the operation of vehicles on 
certain highways in the State of Texas, and for other 
purposes.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Promoting Agricultural 4

Commerce Act’’. 5

Section 127(n) of title 23, United States Code, is 3

amended— 4

(1) by inserting ‘‘United States Route 83,’’ 5

after ‘‘United States Route 281,’’; and 6

(2) by inserting ‘‘or Interstate Route 2’’ after 7

‘‘Interstate Route 69’’. 8
