resignation of United States Representative Joseph Scarborough and reelected to
the seven succeeding Congresses (October 16, 2001-January 3, 2017); chair,
Committee on Veterans Affairs (One Hundred Twelfth through One Hundred
Fourteenth Congresses); was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred
Fifteenth Congress in 2016.
